Valinda is a public artist, designer, writer, and community organizer. Drawing on her lived experience, she practices creative facilitation, storytelling, art, and mutual aid to challenge systems of harm and build power in immigrant, refugee, and diaspora communities. Their work is shaped by a background in design, but more deeply by community – by listening, sharing, and building collective power.
